The NASCAR Cup garage is at Homestead Miami for the 6th race of the 2025 Cup season and Hendrick Motorsports’ Kyle Larson is among the racers that are most excited about it. He is set to race in the all three national series events in the weakened. He will race in the Truck series with entry with Spire Motorsports alongside Cup and Xfinity entry with HMS.

This make is one of the busiest race week Kyle Larson has ever been in NASCAR. What makes is special is the fact that only a select group of drivers have attempted this schedule in the sport. The No:5 Chevy driver talking about it pointed out that it is a bucket list feat for him and it being something only Kyle Busch has done make it interesting.

Sure, yeah, I guess you can consider it a bucket list sort of thing. I think it’s just a really tough feat to do it, and I think Kyle Busch is maybe the only one who’s done it, and he’s done it multiple times at Bristol. So, to join him in something like that would be pretty special.

Kyle Larson told Fox Sports’ Bob Pockrass.

Further talking about the point, Larson pointed out that he loves the track and always loves the opportunity race more, that makes it more special. Since he doesn’t have any dirt race events scheduled this week, it is the perfect opportunity for him.

But yeah, really more than anything I just love the opportunity to race. I love Homestead. And I didn’t have any other dirt races to do this weekend, so I felt like it was a perfect weekend to try and run all three and potentially win all three would be great.

Kyle Larson is set to make NASCAR history

Over the years Kyle Larson has proved himself as one of the best drivers in the world and since joining HMS he has been one of the most dominant drivers in the garage. He has set multiple new records in his time with the Chevy giants.

He is now on the verge of securing another record, that is currently held by 2017 Cup Series champion Martin Truex Jr. The legendary racer retired from the sport last season and potentially made his final Cup starts in the 2025 Daytona 500.

He needs two more stage wins to match the most stage win record held by the JGR driver.  Larson is fast tracking his way to breaking the record, as he has won six stages in the last seven races at Homestead, Miami.

Kyle Larson gives his verdict on the Christopher Bell double pit-stop drama

One of the most controversial events from last race at Las Vegas was the double pit from Christopher Bell, who used teammate Chase Briscoe’s pit box to sort a lose tier issue and overcome a huge penalty by taking small one. Kyle Larson has given his verdict on the drama.

I thought it was smart and quick reacting of them to do that. I don’t see anything wrong with it, so I don’t know how you’d change it. I thought it all played out fine. I don’t really think there needs to be a penalty beyond what that already was. He probably had to restart at the very back of the field anyways. So yeah, I mean, you kind of penalize yourself.

Kyle Larson said.

The veteran comments seem to indicate he okay with how everything played out and how NASCAR responded to it with a reasonable penalty. He, like many in the sport doesn’t want a penalty regarding this and it would be interesting to see how NASCAR is going to respond to these comments.
