Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Kyle Busch was the headline makers from the North Wilkesboro All-Star race for all the wrong reasons. The duo was involved in some on track dram early in the race and after the race the frustration boiled over, and the former punched the RCR veteran on the mouth during the heated conversation.

Kyle Busch’s frustrated reaction to getting passed on lap one and making contact with the wall because of it was the cause for the incident. The No:8 chevy just wrecked the No:47 Chevy without hesitation when he got the chance on lap two. According to ex-NASCAR driver Kyle Petty it was a poor move from Busch.

He pointed out that Kyle Busch would have made contact with the wall regardless of the Stenhouse’s move, so he was wrong to take revenge on the JTGD Racing driver. Petty reiterated that the wreck was totally uncalled for from Busch.

I want to go back to that incident. I think Kyle Busch and he didn’t have the hindsight, didn’t have the opportunity to in that one and a half laps that he run, to watch the replay of the video where he was in the wrong and Ricky Stenhouse was in the right. You could have put two fans in the middle of the race track between Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Kyle Busch and he still runs into the wall...Totally uncalled for.

Kyle Petty claims Kyle Busch’s action came out of frustration

The eight times Cup race winner pointed out that Kyle Busch has been involved in similar incidents in the past with the likes of Joey Logano and Ron Hornaday. He highlighted that the struggle RCR is in is the reason why Busch is making some bad decision on the track.

This is frustration, remember when Kyle Busch used to run up front? No, I can’t remember it either. Because it’s been about a year and a half and I think it’s the frustration come out.
Kyle Petty said.

Petty is right said that frustration is getting into Kyle Busch, as he is no longer able to run upfront because of the poor car he is having. Busch might find himself in similar situation more this season if RCR can’t field faster cars for him.
