Martin Truex Jr. said that he is looking to bounce back at COTA after his Joe Gibbs Racing No:19 Toyota’s disappointing run last year’s wet track in the middle of a heavy downpour where he crashed out. He went on to add that he is hoping to produce a better performance in COTA as there is no rain delay predicted.

“We’re excited to go back to COTA. We did not run well there last year at all, so I feel like we want to show that we’re better than we were running even before the crash knocked us out of the race,” Martin Truex Jr. said.

“There’s no rain in the forecast this weekend, so we should be able to put on a much better show than what we had their last season with all the rain and visibility issues. I’m looking forward to it. I think it should be a fun race,” Martin Truex Jr. added.
