Healthcare giant, AdventHealth is switching lanes for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series, bidding farewell to Trackhouse Racing and embracing a new partnership with Legacy Motor Club (LMC). This shift signifies AdventHealth’s transition from the hustle of Trackhouse to the promising tracks of LMC, with a strategic focus on part-time sponsorship.

The decision to part ways with Trackhouse Racing and their long-time partner, Ross Chastain stemmed from the overwhelming dominance of their new sponsor, Busch Beer, leaving minimal space for AdventHealth to shine. Seeking a more accommodating model, AdventHealth found a perfect fit with Legacy Motor Club after a competitive bidding process.

In the upcoming season, Erik Jones and the No. 43 team, donned in the Legacy Motor Club colors, will be the centerpiece of AdventHealth’s NASCAR venture. The healthcare giant’s commitment extends to six primary paint schemes, including the prestigious Daytona 500, showcasing a blend of speed and wellness.

Erik Jones, highlighting the alignment of values with AdventHealth’s holistic approach, said,

This is a great partnership for me on the professional and personal level.

Jimmie Johnson, a seven-time champion and co-owner at LMC, echoes the sentiment;

This is a wonderful day for Legacy Motor Club. AdventHealth believes health should be measured in terms of the whole person — body, mind, and spirit.

AdventHealth plans to enlist healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of the crew

AdventHealth’s preference for a part-time sponsorship model, a less common choice in the NASCAR landscape, notably influenced their pit stop decision. The departure from TrackHouse Racing is not a pitfall but rather a strategic maneuver to rev up AdventHealth’s presence in key races.

The healthcare company brings more than just financial support; it brings a team of healthcare professionals, including nutritionists and fitness experts, to enhance the well-being of the entire racing crew.

The 2024 season marks Erik Jones’s fourth stint with the No. 43, and Legacy Motor Club’s third season under its current banner. Despite past on-track challenges, AdventHealth sees potential in LMC’s dedication to transforming itself into a high-caliber racing team, particularly with the switch to Toyota. Terry Shaw, President/CEO for AdventHealth, steers the conversation towards the broader impact of this partnership. He said;

We are thrilled to partner with Legacy Motor Club and drivers Erik Jones and Jimmie Johnson and are looking forward to a winning 2024 race season.
