Ross Chastain is an American professional stock car racing driver competing full-time in the NASCAR Cup series for Trackhouse Racing. Nicknamed the watermelon man, he was born on December 4, 1992, to Ralph and Susan Chastain in Alva, Florida. His elder brother Chad Chastain is also a professional NASCAR driver. Ross Chastain is most renowned for his riding the wall (Hail Melon) in the last lap of the 2022 Martinsville Cup playoff race to secure a Championship 4 entry.
