The TRD driver moved up ahead of him as expected to make a block. Unfortunately, this resulted in a contact that send him spinning and making contact with the outside wall. It triggered a multi-car crash, taking out the likes of Ryan Blaney, Joey Logano and Kyle Larson out of the race.

BW: He wrecked me

FK: I can’t see the car… How is it?

Damn. Nothing to show for in the first stage. Obviously, just trying to figure out the strategies stuff. Man, just hate it. Hate it for Xfinity, hate it for our team. Don’t want to have any DNFs; we have two now, so it’s a bummer.

Bubba Wallace said.

Further talking about the point, the veteran admitted that the Toyota’s haven’t been good when it comes to being pushed in 2026 and he is responsible for some of that. It’s something they needs to fix before next weekends’ race at Texas.

We got to figure out how to be pushed better, so I take responsibility on that. We’ll have a good debrief and figure out what we can do to make our Toyotas a little bit better being pushed, and maybe not have that happen. But appreciate Xfinity, we’ll go on to ole Texas and have some fun.

Bubba Wallace added.

The comments from the veteran are on point and shows there are a lot of room for improvement for the No:23 team. It would be interesting to see how everything is going to playout for the star driver in the coming races, as the pressure is on his shoulder are mounting.
