RFK Racing isn’t ‘irrelevant’ anymore; Brad Keselowski is leading them to become a ‘legit contender week in and week out’
Keselowski has recently been named to the list of 75 greatest NASCAR drivers.

2012 NASCAR Cup series champion Brad Keselowski made a shocking career choice at the end of the 2021 season. He decided to end his long and fruitful partnership with Team Penske Racing and join Rosch Fenway Racing as a minority owner/ driver. After a slow start to 2022, the team has evolved into a balanced side that is finding cars worthy of maximum Top 10 finishes each week.
He underachieved in his first season with the rebranded RFK Racing and finished the year without a victory. The team lacked proper execution and was affected pretty badly by the severe sanction for unauthorized modification at the start of the season. Keselowski did enter the victory lane that season as owner after his teammate Chris Buescher scored a win in a playoff race.
The team has moved on from the 2022 mediocre rise and has found itself in the right place to evolve into consistent race-win contenders in the 2023 season. Keselowski, a proven leader in the Cup garage, is leading by example. He sits p9 in the championship going to Kansas, and with back-to-back top 10s, is a contender for the win. He might score his 3ed Cup race win at Kansas to make his total tally 36 in the series.
The No:6 Mustang driver shared about his team’s growth to the RACER. He said, “I haven’t spent a lot of time thinking about other people’s reaction; I’ve really had my head down, and I really want us to be able to win with both cars. I want us to grow to where RFK is a legit contender week in and week out,”.
“We’ve gone from where we were last year, which I would have called the ‘irrelevant’ category, to the ‘relevant’ category – whether people see that or not. I want to get into the category where we’re a weekly contender, and we’re right on the fringe of that,” Keselowski added

Brad Keselowski has gathered a strong team at RFK Racing
Keselowski, recently named to the list of 75 Greatest NASCAR drivers of all time, has gathered strong-willed and supporting individuals to surround him at RFK. The new talent added to the team or prompted within, such as Kevin Kidd, has made the team more effective and efficient.
“I have more people around me to support me. We’ve added much talent to the company, which has made my days a little bit easier where I can work through some of the hardships which are still going to happen, but work through them a little more efficiently and effectively,” Keselowski said.
The former champion added that he and his crew are now more focused on succeeding as a team, yielding good results. He said, “I just think we’re more focused as a company, and that transcends not just through me and my role but everyone, and it ends up, of course, equating to better results,”.
