Chris Buescher is an American stock car driver. He drives the No.17 Ford Mustang for RFK Racing in the Cup Series. Born in Texas, Buescher began his career by competing in the ARCA Racing Series at the age of 13. In 2008, Buescher relocated to North Carolina to be closer to the NASCAR action. He was mentored by former NASCAR driver, David Ragan. Buescher also became a development driver for Roush Fenway Racing.

Buescher made his Xfinity Series debut in 2011 and entered the competition full-time in 2014. His full-time debut saw decent results, winning his first NASCAR race at the 2014 Nationwide Children’s Hospital 200 at Dover. Although pieces would really start falling into place in 2015. Buescher won the 2015 Xfinity Series championship and collected 2 wins on his way to the title.

He made his Cup Series debut with Front Row Motorsports in 2015, substituting for an injured Kyle Busch. FRM signed a deal with Roush Fenway Racing which would see the Texan racing the No.34 full-time for FRM in the 2016 Cup Series season. Following a 3 year stint at JTG Daugherty Racing, Buescher moved to Roush Fenway Racing in 2020 and has been with the team ever since.
