Bubba Wallace should have confronted Kyle Larson in Las Vegas the same way he handled Corey LaJoie in the 2021 cup season finale

The 2022 cup season was Bubba Wallace’s best season in the premier stock car racing series. The 23X1 Racing driver finished the season with his second career win and P19 spot in the championship table. He scored 5 top 5 and ten top-10 finishes this year, the best numbers of his career. He came close to a second win twice this season but failed to deliver at the last second.
This year also witnessed one of the most notorious incidents of Bubba Wallace’s career. Bubba Wallace confronted and shoved Kyle Larson multiple times after wrecking the HMS driver in the Las Vegas playoff race. Bubba’s actions were prompted by an aggressive move from Larson that nearly took him out of the race. A furious Wallace wrecked Larson from the right rear, an effort that isn’t appreciated in the cup garage.
Bubba Wallace received a one-race ban; ironically enough, the race he was absent from was won by Kyle Larson. Wallace’s action in Vegas was unacceptable, and he was fortunate to get away with a single-race suspension. Wallace’s frustration is understandable, but that doesn’t give you the right to assault someone. He should have done the same thing to Corey LaJoie in the 2020 season finale.
Corey LaJoie took out Bubba Wallace in a fight for P21 in his debut season with 23X1 Racing. The incident occurred in phoenix, where Kyle Larson was dominating the track to win his maiden cup championship. Wallace crashed into the Wall, quickly got out of the car, and, with his helmet on, waited on the sidelines and sarcastically clapped at him when he saw LaJoie coming by.
Corey LaJoie had an Instant Karma moment soon after crashing Wallace
There was a third driver that influenced the incident. LaJoie wrecked Bubba after a third wide battle with Ricky Stenhouse Jr. In the next restart, the JTDG Racing driver scammed LaJoie to the same wall while Bubba Wallace was at the track-side medical center.
Corey LaJoie, Kyle Larson, and Bubba Wallace were friends long before they became household names in NASCAR. There is part of one of the most successful drives to diverse graduates. So, It’s no surprise that both incidents were solved quickly among the contenders.
