Chase Briscoe, the full-time NASCAR Cup Series driver, will pilot the No. 22 AM Racing Ford in the Truck race on the Bristol Dirt. The 28-year-old Stewart-Haas Racing driver almost won the Cup race at the Bristol track last year. Unfortunately, he had a spin in the final corner after a collision with Tyler Reddick. Briscoe is excited to run the Truck race at the Bristol dirt weekend.

The Production Alliance Group, also known as PAG, will be the primary sponsor for Briscoe in his Truck race. The AM Racing team has given opportunities to several drivers throughout the year. Josh Reaume brought pride to the team with the best result of the year so far. He finished 19th at Daytona. Chase Briscoe will return to the Truck Series for the first time since 2021.

The driver of the No. 14 Ford Mustang for Stewart-Haas Racing in the Cup Series stated, “I’m really excited about this opportunity with AM Racing and Production Alliance Group. I always look forward to the Bristol dirt weekend and to be able to get on track twice as much and feel things out will be a lot of fun and, I hope, really beneficial. I know everyone at AM Racing has worked hard to get the truck ready and I think it’s anyone’s race when it comes to the dirt events.”

Chase Briscoe added, “I got the chance to run Bristol a few years ago, and I’ve run the truck race at Knoxville, so I’ve got a good idea of how the truck itself will act on dirt. It’ll just come down to how the track surface changes and whether things can stay green long enough to make a move. I love going back to the truck series so hopefully, I’ll be able to pick up my second dirt win in a truck this weekend.”

The last time Chase Briscoe ran the Truck Series was in 2021 in the Knoxville dirt race. He also finished fifth in the Bristol dirt that year. Briscoe has two wins in the Truck Series already. It includes the win at the Eldora dirt track. He ran 28 races over 4 years. Briscoe also has 5 poles and 17 top-ten finishes in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

There is an amount of pressure on Briscoe as AM Racing wants to chase their first win. The team has been in the series since 2016. For the 2023 season, they have a single entry and a rotating driver lineup for their No. 22 AM Racing Ford. Wade Moore, the team’s president, applauded Chase Briscoe. He believes Briscoe’s experience and feedback will be a huge asset to the team. AM Racing is confident Chase Briscoe will have an opportunity to win his third Truck Series race with them.
