Briscoe is a third-generation racer who began his career on dirt tracks in and around Indiana. He has been racing sprint cars on the rough and tumble bullrings of the Midwest since he was 13 years old, following in his grandfather’s and father’s footsteps. Briscoe is well on his way to making his family’s name ubiquitous with NASCAR.

Briscoe has excelled since joining SHR in 2018. Briscoe demonstrated this on September 29, 2018, when he won the debut race at Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval in only his 14th career Xfinity Series appearance. Briscoe’s first Xfinity Series victory came with SHR, as Briscoe used his dirt-track expertise to wheel his Ford Mustang to a 1.478-second victory margin.

Briscoe’s father, Kevin, initially refused to let him race. He eventually succumbed, allowing Chase to race as a family activity. At the age of 13, he returned to racing five years later, driving 410 sprint cars. That year, he had 17 top-ten finishes and a win in the season finale, becoming the youngest driver to win a 410-sprint car race, breaking NASCAR champion Jeff Gordon’s record by one year while running with a 1993 engine.

Briscoe acquired enough funds to run the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series season after sponsorship issues threatened to force him out. He won the rain-delayed Boyd Gaming 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, leading 27 of 50 laps before the remainder of the race was postponed due to weather, followed by 62 laps on Sunday for a race-high 89 laps led en route to the victory.

Briscoe earned his first World Cup Series race in Phoenix on March 13, 2022. He led 101 of 312 laps on his way to his first Cup Series victory, becoming the 200th different driver in series history to do so. Briscoe was eliminated after finishing 10th at Martinsville in the Round of 8. He ended the season tenth in the points standings, a career-high.
