Joe Gibbs Racing driver Christopher Bell has emerged as one of the championship contenders for the 2023 season. He was the only driver in the championship chase in the finale last season and will also be hoping to get there this year. Bell and his fellow Cup drivers are set to tackle the Chicago Street Race this Sunday, and the youngster has a great reason to win it.

The No:20 Camry will be sponsored by NASCAR Truck Series’ primary sponsor CRAFTSMAN. JGR and the sponsors have come to an agreement that ensures a $1 million donation from them to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. It can change the life of many children in the United States and Canada who needs life-saving medical care.

Christopher Bell’s Camry will also feature hand-colored stars representing the stories of 10 children under the foundation’s care. The primary goal of the partnership, according to Bell, is to raise awareness about the foundation and secure the donation for children in need.

This year, I get to bring Racing for a Miracle to Chicago and represent Lurie Children’s Hospital. The hand-colored stars show the stories of 10 children who will be honorary crew members this weekend. This is the 17th year CRAFTSMAN, and Ace Hardware Foundation have teamed up in this program,” Christopher Bell said.

Their goal is to raise awareness for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals through the Racing for a Miracle program. If I win, CRAFTSMAN has pledged to donate $1 Million to the cause. Who wouldn’t cheer for this scheme?” Christopher Bell added.

One of the biggest challenges awaiting Bell at Chicago is his minor slump in form. He has secured a Top 5 finish since his win in Bristol. He scored 4 top 10s since the win and back-to-back top 10s in the last two races. But compared to his senior teammates, Denny Hamlin and Martin Truex Jr., the results could have been way better.

We had a great start to the season and then a terrible stretch of races the last couple of months, so between Sonoma and here seems like we’re getting it turned around a little bit. We had it early on in the year and kind of got it away from us a little bit, so I think we’ll be able to find it,” Bell said at Nashville last week.
