Trackhouse Racing’s Ross Chastain is the most talked about athlete in the current Cup grid. The 2022 championship runner-up has made the headlines for his supposed hyper-aggression on the track since his debut for Justin Marks’s team. He has earned the title of new NASCAR heel. His ability to drive away from incidents unharmed while his opponents suffer is unmatched in the garage.
Going into the Throwback weekend at Darlington, the No:1 Chevy Cup driver not only has to face the enemies from the premier division. Ross Chastain will drive in the Xfinity and Truck series events as well on the coming weekend. It’s made this week the most jam-packed schedule for him so far. He will be driving for three different Chevy teams.
His Xfinity series Shriners Children’s 200 outing is with DGM. It’s his second race with the team he has raced for this past year. He drove for them at the second division event on Auto Club Speedway. The No: 91 Chevrolet Camaro does not have a throwback scheme, unlike many. He does have a special sponsor, Florida Watermelon Association.
His Truck Series Buckle Up South Carolina 200 outing is with Niece Motorsports. He will drive the No. 41 Chevrolet Silverado. The team will honor three times Championship-winning legend Lee Petty. They are using the iconic blue paint scheme supported by sponsor Worldwide Express. The same firm sponsors his Cup ride for Sunday, and they will honor former champion, Dale Jarrett.

Chastain, while talking about his outing, pointed out that the 1.336-mile track is a different beast. He added the unique corners of the track are the biggest challenge on race week. Chastain went on to say that he ie eager to experience the fun of triple duty.
“I like going to Darlington. It’s such a unique track, and I love how challenging it is. Every corner is so unique and it’s so challenging to get your car set to turn well at the track,” Chastain said.
“This weekend I’ll be able to get a lot of laps in by running all three series. It’s a fun weekend with it being throwback and all of the excitement that surrounds it,” Chastain added.
