Junior Motorsport is among the most dominant Xfinity series teams in the NASCAR garage. Owned by Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr., the team has won 3 driver’s championships. Three of the four drivers in the season finale represented JRM, but they failed to outperform champion Ty Gibbs.

Dale Jr. was a regular presence at the JRM garage, motivating his team even during his hefty broadcasting schedule with NBC. But he missed one of the important wins scored by his team in 2022. He revealed on his Twitter handle that he failed to watch Josh Berry’s impressive win at Charlotte.

What race did you not see this year that you wish you had? One would be the Charlotte Xfinity win of Josh Berry. The battle between him and Justin sounded amazing. I was working in Indy that day and couldn’t watch. JRM historically had struggled at Charlotte. Proud day for us,” Tweeted Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Josh Berry started the race on P4, while his teammate Justin Allgaier started at P2. The race then witnessed intense back-and-forth battles among the teammates as they shared stage 1 and 2 wins. Allgaier missed the top 5 at the end, while Berry triumphed. It was a track where JRM historically struggled.

Mayer scored 11 top-5 finishes and eight top-10s in 2022.  His season’s highlight was his bitter rivalry with Xfinity series champion Ty Gibbs.

Thirty-six years old veteran Justin Allgaier will drive the No:7 Chevy Camaro for the team. He finished P3 in the championship in his 7th full-time season with JRM. He scored three wins, 13 top-5s, and 7 top 10s in 2022.

The newest driver who joins JRM in 2022 will be Brandon Jones. He drove for JGR in 2022 and will go the No:9 Chevy in 2023. The 25 years scored one win in 2022 and missed out on the playoff after teammate ty Gibbs wrecked him in the R-8 cut-off race. He finished in the top 5 five times and scored 7 top 10s.
