Denny Hamlin claims he is “giving back to the sport” by starring in NASCAR’s Netflix series

The NASCAR Full Speed show on Netflix, which was released on January 31st this year, has brought in tons of new fans into the sport. The series really helped viewers have a look at the lives of their stock car racing drivers, and dive deeper into the roots of the sport.
Joe Gibbs Racing driver, Denny Hamlin was one of the stars docuseries. The driver has recently spoken about how being in the docuseries is one of his ways to give back to the sport while talking on the Happy Hours with Harvick Podcast with ex-NASCAR champion Kevin Harvick.
I understood how big of a deal this was for our sport. I consider it an obligation to give back to the sport, Now, I’m doing it in several different ways. Whether it be through content with the podcast or owning a race team. I’ve invested back into the sport heavily.Denny Hamlin said on the Happy Hours podcast.
The No:11 Toyota Camry driver also pointed out that it’s the duty of drivers to give back to the sport and do their best to bring in more fans into the sport. Hamlin asserted that Netflix could continue filming him and following him as long as he wants them to.

The NASCAR Full Speed series has showcased multiple drivers such as Kyle Larson, Bubba Wallace, Christopher Bell, etc in their natural habitat. The show has really brought in a lot of new fans and relighted the spirit of old fans.
JDenny Hamlin was asked about his thoughts on the way drivers are portrayed on the show on the Happy Hours Podcast. The driver claimed that he thinks the portrayal seems to be pretty close to reality and honest in nature.
They portrayed me accurately. I thought that the others that I saw were portrayed how I would see them as well. So, I thought they did a really good job of entertaining our current race fans along with educating people about how NASCAR works.Denny Hamlin said.
Hamlin also added how the show continues to be very beneficial for NASCAR and how every driver should try to showcase themselves for the fans and the sport. The number 11 really seems to be one of the pioneers for the Full Speed show by Netflix.
