WATCH: Denny Hamlin’s daughters claim he should’ve won ‘100 races’ as he has driven in ‘too many’ races

As part of its investment into broadcasting, NASCAR recently released the Netflix docu-series NASCAR: Full Speed. In one day, it became one of the top-streamed series in the USA and Canada. The five-episode series follows a selected group of drivers and the 2023 playoff, giving fans exclusive content that includes the racer’s families.
Joe Gibbs Racing’s Denny Hamlin is arguably the biggest contributor to the series. He opened himself and his house doors for Netflix, and the producers were able to capture some unique moments in the life of the Hamlin family. Hamlin shared one such moment on social media, where he is seen having a wholesome conversation with his daughters, Taylor and Molly.

Six-year-old Molly asked Hamlin how many races he had done in NASCAR, to which he replied he had done 600. She responded to it, saying, “That’s too many.” Hamlin then said that he had only won 50 races and asked them how many he should’ve won. Both Molly and Tyler responded, saying he should’ve won 100.
The conversation then turned to Hamlin talking about Kyle Larson’s race win that day and the young Molly finding it hard to get the 2021 Cup champion’s name. 11-year-old Taylor helped her to get their names. The show features many more wholesome moments that feature Hamlin and his daughters.

Hamlin is the non-championship-winning driver with the most Cup race wins. He captured his record from Mark Martin. Three of his wins of Hamlin came at the Daytona 500, and he is one of the most successful drivers when It comes to crown jewel races.
