NCAA athlete Olivia Dunne had her first NASCAR experience in Nashville as he joined thousands of fans for the Ally 400. Her huge social media presence and gymnastic ventures with Louisiana State University make her one of the most recognizable faces in her sport. Ahead of the event, she shared some moments with NASCAR’s most popular driver Chase Elliott.

The 2020 Cup series champion shared images of them before the race, talking on his social media. NASCAR’s official handle also shared their picture in the starting grid. Dunne earlier welcomed her fans via social media to the event. The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model coming to the event was praised as a good marketing move as it can attract fans who might not be familiar with the sport to go to the event.

Elliott had another solid day with Hendrick Motorsports as he secured a p4 finish in the first race after the mid-season break. He was the highest-finishing HMS, one place ahead of his teammate Kyle Larson who secured P5.

Chase Elliott missed seven races this season, six due to injury and one due to suspension, and desperately needs a win to secure the playoffs. The top 5 finish will be a positive result for him in the chase for the title. The No:9 Chevy Camaro ZL1 team has nine more races before the Round of 16 to secure an entry to the chase.
