Martin Truex Jr., who sports the No.19 Toyota Camry TRD for Joe Gibbs Racing as a full-time NASCAR Cup Series contender is currently in a dilemma regarding his retirement and is not sure if he will get back in the No.19 Camry next year and this is not a good sign for his fans as he is well known for his outlandish driving skills and is also a future NASCAR Hall of Famer.

Martin Truex Jr. has acquired seven top 10s and five top 15s with no victory yet this season but his list of achievements is long with him emerging as the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Champion and two-time Busch Series Champion in 2004 and 2005 and also won the Coca-Cola 600 twice in 2016 and 2019 and amassed a total of 31 victories and 255 top 10s with 19 pole positions in his 19 years of Cup Series career.

NASCAR Reporter at Fox News tweeted regarding this as the tweet read that Martin Truex Jr., is unsure about his return next year and that he is finding difficulty in deciding when and how to approach it, the tweet also mentioned possible reasons like the quality of life and also financial implications but it isn’t a major factor and he will be deciding in the coming weeks.

“Martin Truex Jr. said he doesn’t know whether he will come back next year. He said he thinks about it every day and doesn’t know how he will decide. A lot of factors, including quality of life. Financial implications are not as big a factor. He said he should know in a couple weeks,” read the tweet by Bob Pockrass.

Fans were also thoughtful of the condition of his partner Sherry Pollex and that it may influence his final decision. Many fans started speculating about the future of the No.19 car and whether or not Ty Gibbs will take up the mantle in the Cup Series as a full-time driver and fans also wished well for him.
