Brad Keselowski who races the No.6 Ford Mustang for RFK Racing as a full-time competitor in the Cup Series is all set and waiting to get onto the World Wide Technology Raceway for NASCAR’s next round of races at the 1.25-mile track in Illinois with his last outing being a disastrous one at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Brad Keselowski was running alongside Kurt Busch and Martin Truex Jr., before getting caught up in the big-one initiated by Ryan Blaney as he spun out in the middle of track collecting the aforementioned players and Bubba Wallace and many others too, unfortunately ending their races with just 9 more laps to for the end Stage 2 with this being the 10th caution of the 2022 Coca-Cola 600.

He will be returning to the World Wide Technology Raceway where he has already run in the Xfinity Series and Camping World Truck Series with a victory in 2010, the last Xfinity Series race there, and finished with three top 10s out of five starts at the track with a P2 finish in three Truck Series starts. Keselowski will be looking to make the most of this weekend using his prior experience as an advantage. He also has a disappointing 2022 season with just two top 10s and five top 15s with an early end in the Coca-Cola 600.

Brad Keselowski is really counting on his previous time at the World Wide Technology Raceway with his time at the track with the Xfinity and Truck Series despite this being the first Cup Series race run at this particular track and he is pretty confident about his run in the Enjoy Illinois 300 on the 5th of June, 2022.

“Obviously this is all new to the Cup Series as it is another place we’re visiting for the first time. I have been there prior in Xfinity and Trucks, so one of the few to have turned laps there before definitely helps,” said Brad Keselowski.

He also added saying that the owner of the WWTR, Curtis Francois, and his team have put a lot of effort to host the first NASCAR Cup Series race at their track, and he is eagerly waiting to get out there and put on an unforgettable show for his fans and those of the sport in his No.6 Ford Mustang.

“I know Curtis Francois and his team have been working for a long time on this weekend, and I can’t wait to get into his market and put on a great show for our fans in our Solomon Plumbing Ford Mustang,” added Brad Keselowski.

With just a few more races to go for the 2022 Championship, it will take a miracle for Brad Keselowski to make a spot in the playoffs with a 30th place standing in the points table.
