Daniel Suarez who sports the No.99 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Trackhouse Racing as a full-time NASCAR Cup Series driver and is currently the only Mexican national to have won a Cup Series race and achieved this feat after winning the Toyota Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway which happened to be the second road-course race of the 2022 season with the first being the Echopark Automotive Grand Prix won at Circuit of The Americas which was won by his teammate Ross Chastain.

Daniel Suarez is currently in his second season with the newly formed team Trackhouse Racing and it is pretty evident that both the driver and the team have been exceptional so far this season with their mindset and approach towards the races and he has secured a win confirming his playoffs spot with additional five top 10s while also winning this season’s NASCAR All-Star Open at Texas Motor Speedway and he also looks forward to having a great race in the Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway and he is also the only Mexican to win an Xfinity Series Championship which he did in 2016.

Daniel Suarez has been the talk of the town after being the first and the only non-American national to win a Cup Series Race he spoke about him qualifying for the playoffs after that win at Sonoma and he straight-away shutdown any excitement as he chose to concentrate on the ongoing races rather than being excited with what was yet to come in playoffs with the time left and added that the confirmation alone isn’t enough and he wants to work on achieving playoff points.

“Yeah, honestly, I haven’t thought about the Playoffs yet. We still have 2 1/2 months before that. I feel like there are still a lot of things to be done before that. It feels good to know that we’re locked in. That’s when you start becoming a strong contender in the Playoff races. That’s the goal. We still have 2 12 months to work on that. Hopefully, we can get a couple more wins and some more Playoff points. That would be nice,” said Daniel Suarez.

He added by speaking about the speculations that already declared him the winner at this year’s next road course after Sonoma, the Road America and he said that he is not quite sure about that but he surely is aware of the fact that he had two dominant runs at both COTA and Sonoma with his COTA run being the better one but couldn’t pull it off towards the end and he also said that he is extremely thrilled for every road course this season.

“Honestly, I don’t know. At the end of the day, it doesn’t really matter to me. I think at COTA, we were extremely strong. But in my opinion, we were very, very strong; even stronger than Sonoma. In Sonoma, we had a very good car. We did a very good job calling the race. It’s been good. I would be lying to you if I told you I’m not extremely excited about every single road course,” added Daniel Suarez.

Daniel Suarez further added by saying that he is really grateful for the team he has and that they’re always present to his support and he is positive that he has the caliber to win every single race that is yet to come and looks forward to making the most of the equipment that he has been provided with and is currently committed to having a good run at Nashville as he concluded by speaking about how eagerly he is anticipating his run at Road America the week later.

“I believe that we can win in every single one of them. We have good cars. I have a very good team behind me. I feel like I’ve done a good job with the tools that have been given to me and it’s been fun. So, I’m really looking forward to it. Right now, I’m trying to put all my energy into here in Nashville. But next week at Road America, I know it’s going to be a lot of fun for me; and hopefully, we can have another strong shot,” concluded Daniel Suarez.

With a playoff spot already in his grasp, will Daniel Suarez look to make more out of the remaining races left and gather points for a better shot at the NASCAR Cup Series Championship?
