“I think it’s pretty high,” L A Coliseum officials are positive about NASCAR returning to the track

Clash At The Coliseum 2022

NASCAR hosted the Clash At Coliseum this year at the celebrated L A Memorial Coliseum in February this year where fans witnessed the No.22 Ford Mustang driver Joey Logano of Team Penske emerged victoriously, in unofficial start to 2022 season.

Coliseum GM, Joe Furin is highly anticipating NASCAR’s return to the culturally significant stadium for the first exhibition race of next season. NASCAR reportedly signed a contract with the Coliseum on hosting the event for three years and put a hold on the last two years apparently.

“Nothing really surprises me anymore. But I think it’s pretty high,” says Joe Furin on NASCAR coming back to race at the LA Coliseum

Joe Furin, GM of Coliseum seems to be pretty optimistic about NASCAR coming back to host its Clash at Daytona says that the chances of a return are high and despite him being biased, the previous year’s event was widely successful and reaped benefits for both parties which is another indication for NASCAR to return.

“I think it’s pretty high, obviously, I’m biased, but I’m also an optimist that there were so many positive things about Year 1 that I think it’s a good, good shot,” said Joe Furin.

He further added saying that he has spent an ample amount of his time in this work field and despite the fact of a contract being signed, anything can change which led him to not be startled but he genuinely believes that NASCAR would return to the Memorial Coliseum for its Clash At Daytona RC.

“I’ve been in the business for a long time, you think you have it, it’s signed, sealed, and delivered, and then a change is made. So, nothing really surprises me anymore. But I think it’s pretty high. My personal feeling is it’s pretty high,” concluded Joe Furin, GM of the Memorial Coliseum.

Will the current relationship between Memorial Coliseum and NASCAR face any repercussions if the event might not return for the coming years as per the contract?
