“I think you need to be really brave at this point to do that,” Chase Elliott voices his opinion on splitting the NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 stages into half

NASCAR Cup Series Teams Hendrick Motorsport’s No.9 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 driver Chase Elliott and Team Penske’s No.12 Ford Mustang driver Ryan Blaney shared their conceptions on NASCAR opting to go with bifurcating each of the four 100 lap stages into two parts of 50 laps each in Sunday’s Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Both Chase Elliott and Ryan Blaney have had a really impressive season so far with Chase Elliott leading the points table with a victory at Dover International Speedway and eight top 10s whereas Ryan Blaney follows Elliott in points with a victory in the All-Star Race giving him no points but acquired six top 10s thus far in the season.
Both these drivers will give their all during the long 600-mile race for the victory while Elliott starts 13th and Blaney starts 11th in the iconic Coca-Cola 600 as an honor to the U.S Military on account of the Memorial Day Weekend, Elliott will be seen paying tribute to U.S. Army 1st Lieutenant Noah Harris and Blaney will honor Sergeant Joel Amos House, who both gave their lives in battle in Iraq under the initiative of NASCAR Salutes.
“We will see but it’s hard to tell,” says Ryan Blaney as he hands out his take on NASCAR’s 50-50 plan

Chase Elliott answered the question by saying that it is a bold move by NASCAR to do something like that and he added that with the unlimited time for testing and no problems arising, he, unfortunately, doesn’t have an answer but he rather said that we can fix these issues once they occur as he and his team did the same at Darlington and they ended up having no problem for the next race either.
“I think you need to be pretty brave at this point to do that but you know I know that at the test we run really long whether somebody spun out or there is a tire problem so I don’t really know how to answer that. To be honest, we had our problem at Darlington and we corrected it and during the race, we had no issues. We go to Kansas and we don’t have issues all day long,” said Chase Elliott.
Ryan Blaney shared his conscience by saying that he really has no idea how things will turn out to be until he gets onto the track on Saturday and he wishes that he won’t have any issues.
“We will see but it’s hard to tell until we kinda get a gauge on how they’re wearing till we get on track on Saturday but I hope not, I hope there is no issues,” said Ryan Blaney.
With the top 2 racers in the standings getting ready for the historic Coca-Cola 600, it’ll be a treat to the eyes as they go all guns blazing.
