Kyle Busch pointed out that he has been going through heavy stress, just like NASCAR semi-finals, in the last three months when asked about how much pressure he feels about the playoff. He added that his competitors are behind him in that regard as they will only start to feel the heat three weeks into the playoffs.

The stress of the last two or three months is like going through [NASCAR’s semifinal] Round of 8, so I’m already living it. I’m already there. These bozos haven’t been there yet. They’re only going to feel it for three weeks. I’ve dealt with it for three months — bring it on,” Kyle Busch told Fox sports.

Kyle Busch pointed out that the time is ticking for him and acknowledged that he has a lot of offer in front of him, which just need him to make a move, saying, “I’m not going to put a timeline on it, but time is ticking, and there are a lot of other options and a lot of other dominoes that need to fall [depending on where I go]. Just talking amongst others, I’m the first one that needs to go,”.

Kyle Busch addressed the perception that his racing persona is the one keeping the sponsors away, saying he doesn’t think it’s due to him being what he s rather, it has to do with the sport’s current state, saying, “The perception is that it’s probably tougher being who I am to sell a sponsor. But I’m going to argue that fact, too. Name me the last big, $5-10 million sponsor to come into the sport. Is that a Kyle problem or a sports problem?”.

Kyle Busch went on to admit that the contract situation has become 80 o 85 percent hard due to the KBM  truck series option that is part of the sponsorship deal. He added that if the agreement were only about him, I would have been signed already.

“I would say that the truck series option with Kyle Busch Motorsports has probably made this situation 80 to 85 percent harder than if it was just me. I would have been done by now if it was just me,” Kyle Busch added.
