The 2022 season so far has been a hard un for two times Cup Series Champion Kyle Busch as the veteran had to fight so much misfortune in his Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Next-Gen car. The ‘Rowdy’ was able to secure his first cup race win after 25 race winless runs since Pocono Raceway in 2021.

With an average finish of 13.5, Kyle Busch who is the track leader and poster boy for Toyota racing teams in NASCAR was struggling to make the Joe Gibbs Racing team to the top. It was the reliability and misfortune on a track that had cost Kyle Busch a win so far this season. But he made his way back to the victory lane in Bristol last Sunday after he stole the win from Chase Briscoe and Tyler Reddick as the leaders spun themselves out of the race.

Now Kyle Busch’s crew chief Ben Beshore has come forth suggesting that the surprise at the Food City dirt race feels like a miracle for him.

Ben Beshore acknowledged that the surprising win felt like a miracle for him as the team entered the race with very limited knowledge on what to expect on the track. He went on add that he is excited about the win and suggested that the victory picks the team up from the rough start so far this season.

It feels like a miracle we came out of here with a win [after coming] into this weekend, it being a dirt race, [and] not knowing what to expect. [I’m] super excited about this … and it picks the team up from sort of the rough start we had so far this year,Ben Beshore said.

Ben Beshore went on to add that his team is learning fast right now developing what they think is the best package for each weekend. He went on to say that Lyle Busch also has been instrumental in the betterment of the team’s performances with his constant feedback on the car.

Everyone is learning so fast right now and developing what they think is the best package for each weekend. Kyle has been really good, giving us good feedback and really working on our cars, trying to get them better every week,” Ben Beshore added.
