In a recent funny interaction, Legacy Motor Club driver John Hunter Nemechek referred to Bubba Wallace as the funniest driver in the NASCAR ladder. Both driver’s are part of the Toyota umbrella after Nemechek got his second chance in the Cup Series with Jimmie Johnson’s LMC.

Both Wallace and the 26-year-old drive the have been close friends off the track due to their constant interaction over the years at TRD. Nemechek and Wallace have been seen with each other quite a few times before. As earlier, they participated in the 6 hours of Daytona together as allies previously.

Nemechek had a marvellous 2023 season as he dominated the Xfinity series last time around. The 26-year-old secured seven brilliant race wins across the calendar and 24 top-ten finishes in total which promoted him to the Cup series this year and is looking to continue the fine form.

On the other hand, Wallace is the only black driver in the top series. Moreover, the 30-year-old had a fair bit of success himself as he finished on the podium at the race in Texas and moved on to the playoffs to give a tough fight to the other challengers, last year and high hopes for 2024.

How is Bubba Wallace’s 2024 season going on?

The Alabama native has not had the chance to stand on the podium yet. Wallace had high ambitions for the 2024 season after a winless season last year but fortune doesn’t seem to favour his way.

The D4D graduate has finished in the top-five, two times since the start of the season in Daytona. Moreover, the race where he finished fifth was known for its nail-biting finish where Daniel Suarez took the win by a margin of 0.003 seconds.

However, the 30-year-old is still in the run for the top spots as his previous glimpses of performance have shown that he has the raw pace and skill to dance around the track. So fans and experts would be looking out for his performances and wishing that his title hopes last longer than the previous season.
