If there is one man who knows to deliver results on track with his innovative business, it is NASCAR team Trackhouse Racing’s owner Justin Marks. In 2022, the team put both cars in the playoffs. They also had the potential to win the championship as early as their second year. While all this has been going on one side, Trackhouse Racing’s part-time entry, Project91, stole the show.

Project91 is a third entry for Trackhouse Racing, and its mission is to attract and give international racing stars an opportunity of landing a spot in NASCAR. It is a clever move by Justin Marks as it aims to gain publicity due to the crossovers between different forms of racing. However, the goal is to win, and this project has the potential. After the Australian Supercars legend Shane Van Gisbergen’s win at the inaugural Chicago Street race, many believe Project91 shows promise.

Justin Marks was delighted with the team’s result in Chicago. He stated, “It just puts fuel in the tank as far as we’re trying to build something here where the greatest drivers in the world have a place that they can call home if they want to try NASCAR racing. For us to put it in Victory Lane, it just shows, I think, the world that this Project91 is a very, very elite effort.”

Marks added, “It’s about putting a program together that can actually win and tell great stories. I think the fact that we put it in Victory Lane, it just galvanizes our mission in trying to attract the greatest motorsport talent in the world.” The win in Chicago is a great boost for the team. Justin Marks claims it will attract more sponsors and international racing legends to Project91.

The 42-year-old also revealed that their sponsor Enhance Health joined them before they announced the driver. They loved the concept and believed in it.  Marks stated that they wanted to be a part of it.

The aim is to lure international racing stars to the program. Marks wants to keep the other two cars away from all this as they are battling for the championship. In Nashville, Ross Chastain took the win home and is 3rd in the NASCAR Cup Series championship after Grant Park 220.

Justin Marks brought F1 icon and Ferrari’s last world champion Kimi Raikkonen to Project91 in 2022. This time it was the Supercars legend Shane Van Gisbergen. These moves attract people from other racing series to NASCAR. It is safe to say that Project91 is a success and has the potential for more. It won’t be long before other big names in the motorsport world show up in this special Trackhouse Racing project.
