Stewart Haas Racing’s Kevin Harvick is one of the most successful NASCAR drivers. He holds the record for most Cup wins at Phoenix Raceway with a staggering nine wins. Despite his achievements on the track, someone new ‘wears the firesuit in his family.’ It is none other than his daughter Piper Harvick. Kevin and his wife, Delana Harvick, welcomed their daughter on December 28th, 2017. The little one is five years old and is already taking over Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR). 

SHR shared an adorable video of Piper Harvick on their official Twitter account. The video started with the little one introducing herself, “I am Piper Harvick, and I wear the firesuit in this family.” After making her stance, Piper posed for pictures with all her sassiness. Then she revealed, “My daddy doesn’t know, but I am in charge of the 4 now.” Piper went to find Kevin Harvick’s crew chief Rodney Childers to give him a task.

Piper asked Rodney to do push-ups, to which he hilariously replied, “Push-ups? I can’t even do one push-up.” The little girl moved on to car chief Cheddar and asked him to do jumping jacks, which he gladly obliged. Piper Harvick went into full inspection mode and called out the SHR team for missing a spot. She said, “You need to clean this. You missed a spot.”

The SHR crew feels that Piper sounds like her father, Kevin Harvick

Piper asked the members to get back to work. To which they replied, “You sound like your daddy now.” Well, it is not easy to manage a team. Piper might have gotten tired as she went to grab a snack. She mischievously tried picking chocolates and said, “I don’t think my mommy would allow me to have this.”

After her snack break, Piper Harvick challenged the SHR crew members to do push-ups again. This time it also included jumping jacks and sprints. The crew unanimously agreed that Piper was a good coach and credited her. It was a cute video from SHR, and they sure know how to keep their fans entertained. After all, who wouldn’t love watching the little one boss around the SHR garage? 

After SHR shared the video, Piper’s brother Keelan Harvick reposted it and quoted, “This is what I deal with every single day!” Fans found the 11-year-old’s tweet amusing. Hence, it is settled. The NASCAR world knows who wears the firesuit in the Harvick family. It is Kevin Harvick’s daughter Piper and rightfully so. One cannot question the little one’s commitment after watching the video. It was yet another clever piece of social media content by SHR.
