2014 NASCAR Cup Series champion Kevin Harvick and most Americans were deeply invested in the Super Bowl LVIII. Kansas City Chiefs, the defending champions, defeated the San Francisco 49ers. Brock Purdy and his team couldn’t contain the charge from the Chiefs led by Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes.

Harvick’s daughter Piper was one of the many fans who predicted the Chiefs’ win, and like many, the reason for her prediction was Taylor Swift. The pop sensation has been dating Chiefs’ Travis Kelce and has been a constant presence in NFL games featuring her boyfriend and this brought in a lot of new fans to football.

Harvick asked Piper who is she supporting in the 2024 Super Bowl, to which she replied, “Let’s go, Chiefs!:” The retired champion asked why she was supporting the reigning Super Bowl champions. Piper admitted that it’s because of Taylor Swift saying, “Because Taylor Swift likes the Chiefs and Taylor Swift’s boyfriend is on there.”

Piper Harvick seems to be one of the many new fans the Kansas City Chiefs have got since their man Kelce started dating the Swift. For the fans of the pop star, the 2023-24 NFL season gave them everything, from disappointing losses to a huge come-back and championship triumph with the singer in the stands cheering.

Which NFL team does Kevin Harvick support

Like most drivers in the NASCAR garage, Kevin Harvick is a huge football fan.  Ironically, he is a San Francisco 49ers fan. This is because of his West Coast roots, as he was born and brought up in Bakersfield, California. He wasn’t lucky on Sunday as the 49ers couldn’t do enough to win the Super Bowl in the finale.

Going into the Daytona 500, which is just one week away, Harvick might be in for a hard day as his ex-teammate Clint Bowyer would be waiting in the Fox NASCAR booth to take shots at him over the 49ers’ loss to the Chiefs.

Bowyer is a long-time Chiefs fan and is over the moon after the back-to-back triumphs by his team. He was in Vegas attending the gaming despite having to travel over 2500 miles to Daytona afterward for his broadcasting duties.
