In the heart of Phoenix Raceway, SHR driver Kevin Harvick‘s final NASCAR Cup Series weekend unfolded with poignant moments and heartfelt farewells. The race marked the end of a remarkable 23-year career for the veteran driver. As the engines roared to life, Harvick’s children, Keelan and Piper Havick, took to the team radio to send their father off with words of pride and love.

“One last time. Start your engines, Kevin,” echoed over the radio, setting the stage for an emotional send-off. Ten-year-old Keelan’s voice cut through, expressing his pride in his father’s illustrious career and urging him to cap it off with a victory.

In his farewell Cup Series race, Harvick secured a commendable seventh-place finish, marking a final display of competitiveness. Harvick’s enduring excellence on the track concluded with a strong performance in his last race.

It’s just, you know he was a team owner, he was a guy that if he raced on Saturday in the Xfinity Series, he was gonna win… I think it will be a substantial loss for the series.
