The Busch family is one of the racing royalties in NASCAR. They give the premier stock car racing series two champions, Kurt Busch, who won the title in 2004, and Kyle Busch, who won in 2015 and 2019. This makes them the most accomplished siblings in NASCAR and two future first-ballot Hall of Famers.

The most successful of the two, Kyle Busch, is already nurturing the third generation of racers. His son Brexton Bush, who has a contract with Kyle’s current team, Richard Childress Racing, is one of the most exciting talents in the junior racing scene. Samatha Busch, Kyle’s wife, also plays a major role in Brexton’s journey.

But one racing class is a possible destination for Brexton shortly, which she doesn’t want her son to race in. It’s the midget car racing scene, where Kyle has spent significant time in his junior racing career. Busch revealed this in an interview during the Tulsa Shootout, where both are racing. Unlike Samantha, Kyle has no issue with Brexton racing in the Midget class.

Exactly. Mom would not like the midget class. But we’ll give it a whirl one day; we’ll see how that goes. See what we like doing throughout the micros.
Busch said via Floracing.

Brexton Busch made the same revelation earlier

Brexton, before he strapped into the car to race in the Junior Tulsa Shootout event, was asked by Floracing about his racing future. He confirmed that he would be moving up the ladder to the Micro class and revealed that his mother has concerns about him moving into the Midget class.

Yeah, probably get to micros, maybe midgets. My mom doesn’t want me to get into midgets, though.

Kyle Busch plans to ensure Brexton gets more dirt racing opportunities and help him learn traits such as active Cup drivers Kyle Larson and Christopher Bell. Busch wants his son to learn car control by racing in the dirt.
