The two-time Cup Series champion with JGR, Kyle Busch, is in a challenging position as his premier sponsor, M&M, will leave the Cup Series at the end of this season. The team has been working hard to find a sponsorship deal that will allow Joe Gibbs to keep the driver in the No. 18 Camry, which remains unfruitful, putting both the team and the driver in an awkward situation.

The conspiracy surrounding Ty Gibbs Cup entry isn’t helping the negotiations, and JGR has yet to make any significant progress in its conversations with potential suitors for sponsoring the NO:18 car. Now Kyle Busch’s cup series rival Corey LaJoie driving the No:7 Spire Motorsports Chevy, has come forth expressing his view that Kyle Busch will exist JGR in his Stacking Pennies podcast.

Corey LaJoie acknowledged that he does not see Kyle Busch driving the No:18 Camry from next season and added that he hates it too for Kyle Busch fans. He said that Kyle Busch would find a ride somewhere else as, according to the rumors, there are multiple offers on the table for the veteran.

“He’s not driving that car next year… Kyle Busch isn’t driving the 18. It’s not happening. I hate it for the Kyle Busch fan. He will find a job somewhere. Hearing some rumors, there are certain offers on the table,” Corey LaJoie said.

He revealed that Kyle Busch has offers at hand from two Chevy teams, or he can either choose to go back to Ford or remain in the Toyota Racing pack itself, saying, “Two potential Chevy teams. A potential Ford team. And there’s also an option potentially with Toyota,”.

The spire motorsports driver acknowledged that Ty Gibbs, who has already beaten him twice this season regarding finishes, replaced the veteran in the No:18 car. “But I think we’re going to see our little buddy in the 18, guys. That’s just the way it is. I know. I was pumped up about that. Ty Gibbs is two for three with beating me in his Cup career,”.

Kyle Busch’s exist from the roaster will be a massive blow for both Toyota Racing Development and the Toyota fans as over the decades, the partnership has produced some of the most exciting moments of NASCAR racing in the 21st century. The time is still there for JGR to come forth with amends to secure a contract extension, but the team should be quick and efficient.
