NASCAR drivers reacts to unexpected Kurt Busch announcement

Kurt Busch has been side-lined from racing since his Pocono qualifying crash. The veteran suffered a concussion that ruled him out of the cup races. Ty Gibbs drove the No:45 and later the No:23 car in his absence. Now, Busch has announced his decision to step away from full time cup racing in 2023.
23X1 Racing has purchased Tyler Reddick contract from RCR and he will move to the Toyota team as the No:45 driver. Reddick was contracted to join 23X1 in 2024. Kurt Busch will remain with the 23X1 team next season as part time driver and will work behind the scene as mentor for both the drivers.
Kurt Busch NASCAR legacy spans over two decades. The 2004 cup series champion along with his brother Kyle Busch, a two-time cup champion, has produced some of the best moments of NASCAR history. The veteran’s decision to step back from full time racing produced some great reactions from active and retired NASCAR drivers.
