The 2023 season has been an emotional roller-coaster for Team Penske Racing’s Ryan Blaney. After a strong start and the Coco Cola 600 win, he experienced a massive performance slump that lasted till the R-12 in a playoff. The final race of the second round of the playoff at Talladega saw him arguing the much-needed form and momentum.

It was enough for him to make it to the Cup finale winning the R-8 race at Martinsville and finishing second in the season finale to secure the maiden title. His girlfriend Gianna Tulio played a significant role in helping him stay in the zone. She has been a major reason behind Blaney slowly letting go of his infamous short-fused character and having fun exploring his soft side.

Before coming to Blaney’s life the Pennsylvania native wasn’t a  big racing fan and had less knowledge of the sport. She was a successful model and ambassador for Hooters.  According to the driver, since they started dating, she has shown a lot of interest in exploring NASCAR and learning about it. He is happy Gianna Tulio has become a fan of the sport.

She didn't know anything about the sport when I met her, and it's been fun to teach her about it and her get involved with it. It's cool that she's taken such a liking to it.

In the same interview Blaney was asked, if he plans to ask the magical words ‘will you marry me’ since they have been officially dating since July 2020. They have been a solid couple on and off the camera and the NASCAR community will be more than happy to see it happening.

It's one of those things that you're planning on, and you hope happens sometime soon.

At the moment the couple is focussed on having an amazing post-season after the hectic 2023 season. They are already planning to have a vacation in Washington and have other plans as well. A solid post-season and good rest will be essential for him as he goes to the 2024 season as the defending champion.
