NASCAR was in for a disappointing evening on Sunday as a rain delay and subsequent lack of light forced the organization to postpone the Dover Motor Speedway Cup Race to Monday. The Concrete track debut of the Next-Gen car was going well until the cover came on for rain on the track as NASCAR waited out the rain and cleared it to track for racing it was too late.

The Monday Race will be led at the start by Kyle Larson who finished the race at P1 ahead of teammate Chase Elliott when the race starts at 12 PM tomorrow. Ryan Blaney and Martin Truex Jr. will follow the leaders behind in respective positions and polesitter Chris Buescher will start the race at P13 after he failed to hold on to the lead for more than 19 laps.

But fans weren’t two keens on NASCAR’s decision to reschedule the race to noon on Monday and were quick to call out NASCAR on Twitter for their new timings.
