The 2.66-mile Talladega track is one of the most challenging and entertaining tracks in the NASCAR schedule. NASCAR fans were in for a treat as last Sunday’s Next-Gen car’s Talladega debut did not disappoint as it had its fair share of crashes, wrecks, and close racing.

The 2018 NASCAR Cup Champion Joey Logano was once again a victim of the wreck as the No:22 Penske racing driver saw his first DNF of the season as he was bumped in the rear by Bubba Wallace which made him pinball as he crashed with Ty Dillon, Austin Cindric, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., and Daniel Suarez.

Now frustrated with his second successive crash at Talladega Joey Logano has come forth expressing his bitter opinion on Talladega race.

Joey Logano explained his crash saying it looked like Truex was trying to get everyone connected which got all four of the drivers who were part of the cash to get involved in a crash that stacked them on top of each other. He went on to explain that he wasn’t able to do anything when he was getting shuffled out on the track.

“It looks like from what I see there; it looks like Truex was trying to get everyone connected, which it’s part of it, maybe overconnected a little bit. Got all four of us stacked on top of each other. At that point, you’re getting pushed from behind, you’re pushing the car in front. There’s nothing you can do, and I was the one that got shuffled out,Joey Logano said.

Joey Logano in his post-race press conference went on to say that he isn’t that much of a fan of wrecks such as in Talladega as it is a common occurrence in such oval tracks. He went on to suggest that he doesn’t think all drivers enjoy such occurrence even though fans love it adding not many drivers are looking forward to seeing it happening to them.

Stinks. It’s Talladega. I don’t know. Some people love it. I can’t say I do. It seems like it just happens a lot for us on these tracks, we run up front and something happens. They suck. I don’t think drivers enjoy it. The fans enjoy it so that’s good, but I don’t think many drivers look forward to it right now,” Joey Logano added.
