‘Story of perseverance, grit, and overcoming improbable odds,’ Kyle Busch documentary ‘Rowdy’ set to premier on Nashville next month

Kyle Busch is one of the modern-day megastar and future Hall of Famer drivers in NASCAR and the two times Cup Series Champion who now drives the No:18 Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing. The veteran holds an incredible winning record in all three national-wide NASCAR series which includes 102 Xfinity race wins, 61 truck series win, and 60 cup race wins.
Now NASCAR fans can acknowledge their champion with much more familiarity as a Documentary on his 2-decade long cup series career and 2 championship-winning run is set to US-wide theatre release on June 29 next month after its premier set up at Nashville motor speedway coinciding with the Ally 400 cup at June 23.
The Documentary is expected to go deep into Kyle Busch’s incredible championship win in 2015 after surviving a broken leg injury. The Utopia and Fathom produced show will feature Jamie Little of FOX Sports, Rick Hendrick of Hendrick Motorsports, Dale Earnhardt Jr. of the NASCAR Hall of Fame, Samantha Busch, and Jeff Gordon of the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

Chance Wright, “Rowdy” executive producer, has acknowledged that the documentary focuses on the incredible comeback story of Kyle Busch taking into account his perseverance, grit, ability to overcome improbable odds, and the true athleticism in NASCAR and Kyle. The producer suggested that the documentary will be appealing to both hardcore NASCAR fans as well as individuals who have never seen a NASCAR race.

NASCAR also revealed their excitement about the documentary release as it depicts the story of one of the biggest stars in NASCAR who has shown his worth over the last two decades. NASCAR Managing Director of Entertainment Development and Content Matt Summers also shared the organization’s thrill about partnering with Utopia, and Fathom alongside Chance Wright to bring the Kyle Busch story to life.
