“Thank you, was tired of Danica Patrick voice”- NASCAR Twitter reacts as Injured Chase Elliott joins Fox’s Cup race broadcast
IMSA Champion Jordan Taylor replaces Chase Elliott at COTA.

Chase Elliott
The 2023 Circuit of the America cup race is special for multiple reasons. It will be the first Road Course Race without any stage break and will hold one of the most talented ringers line-ups ever. Former f1 world champions Kimi Raikkonen and Jenson Button are joined by IMSA Sportscar racing champion Jordan Taylor.
The big miss for fans, though, is the absence of Chase Elliott, arguably the most gifted Road Course driver in the Cup series ever. Elliott is out due to a tibia injury from a skiing accident. He is replaced in the No:9 HMS Chevy by Taylor. Elliott was the inaugural race winner at COTA and finished P4 last year when Ross Chastain won the event. He is just two weeks away from breaking jeff Gordan’s al time road course race win record and has won in all road courses except Indy and Sonoma.
Now Fox has given fans the opportunity to witness the 2020 Cup champion in action on TV. He will share his experience of the race and will share his wisdom remotely. He will join the permanent line-up of Mike Joy, Clint Bowyer, and guest analyst Cup veteran Kurt Busch in the broadcasting booth. The broadcast will be on March 26, Sunday, 3.30 EST.
The main line-up will be joined by Formula 1 team Hass F1 team principal Guenther Steiner, who is expected to give an in-depth analysis of the F1 racers in the race. America’s Crew Chief, Larry McReynolds, will provide the coverage from the pits and share his wisdom on tire management and other strategic calls.

How NASCAR Twitter reacted to Chase Elliott’s news

Fans were excited about the announcement and quickly shared their views on the decision. They also wished the HMS driver a quick recovery from the injury before the foxed 6 weeks break. Few also use the opportunity to troll other drivers and their scheduled fellow broadcasters.
