Tyler Reddick expects Dover to be ‘a physically demanding race’ as his quest for a cup win continuously amidst his constant unlucky runs

Tyler Reddick will hit the Dover Motor speedway in his No: 8 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 this Sunday hoping to get his season back on track after his lack of luck continues to haunt him. The Richard Childress Racing driver will have his 4th start at the Concrete track this time in the next-gen car.

Tyler Reddick has secured Five Top 10 finishes this season which has a P2 and P3 finish coming at Bristol and Phoenix respectively were if not for his bad luck which brought him to the wrong place at the wrong time, just like last Sunday on Talladega, he would have secured his first win of the season already. He will be eradicating amend all that bad omen coming to the ‘Monster Miles’ at Dover to get his season back on track.

Now the successive two times Xfinity series champion has come forth revealing what he thinks of the upcoming race at Dover Motor speedway.

Tyler Redick acknowledged that the high banks of Dover will be a challenge. He went on to say that since the Next-Gen car offers more grip he expects the Dover race to be physically demanding considering also the fact that the speed of the car might increase. He added that it will be a show to watch for fans and challenging for drivers.

There will be new challenges with the Next-Gen car on the high banks of Dover. The trend of the car has leaned towards more grip everywhere we have gone so far this season. I expect it to be a physically demanding race and the pace of the car to be faster than what we’ve had in the past. It’s definitely going to put on an exciting show for the fans and it will really test the drivers,Tyler Reddick said.

Tyler Reddick went on to say that he believes every weekend offers different and new opportunities which make his stay positive saying “Every weekend is a new opportunity with this new car. It really is a fine line to get the balance of the car right. The work and preparation we put in during the week give us confidence,”.

Tyler Reddick added that he expected his team to get good results at Talladega which didn’t happen but suggested that he will try to win the Denver for the team that really deserves it saying “Our team works really hard each and every week and deserves better results than what we saw at Talladega. We’re ready for this next stretch of races, they’re all pretty good tracks for us,”.
