Ryan Blaney

Ryan Blaney, since he made his move to Team Penske Racing, has been regarded as a definite championship contender and a future champion. Though the 28 years old is yet to produce a championship, he has been one of the most impressive and consistent cup drivers since he made his debut in the No:12 Ford Mustang.

Team Penske and Ryan Blaney have now decided to extend their decade-long partnership for many more years as the driver has signed a contract extension with the team. He and Penske management will be hoping to see the contract extension becoming a confidence booster for the No:12 squad as they are in an awkward position where a 16th different cup winner in the coming race might jeopardize their playoff spot if they remain winless.

Along with Martin Truex Jr., Erick Jones, and Bubba Wallace, Ryan Blaney is the fourth different Cup driver to have announced a contract extension at the same time Petty GMNS announced the addition of Noah Gregson to their Cup team. The team and the driver have yet to disclose the length of the contract renewal.
