NASCAR cup teams will hit the Texas Motor Speedway this Sunday for the first race of Round of 12. The race carries a lot of significance to the playoff grid. The remaining two races of the rounds will be held in Talledega and ROVAL, two tracks that are known for uncertain outcomes. Texas will be the only normal track for the cup drivers.

Going into Texas, Daniel Suarez will be one of the drivers to look up to. The Mexican has a lot to prove in his maiden cup playoff campaign. The No:99 Trackhouse Racing team failed to hit the mark in the first three races of the post-season and was fortunate to make it to the next round.

The track, though, is one of the most hated among NASCAR fans. It ranks high among Daniel Suarez’s list of favorite tracks. The uncertainty of the last two races of the playoff round means the Trackhouse Camaro ZL1 driver has to go full tilt in Texas and come out of the race with an advantageous finish.

Daniel Suarez acknowledged that he is excited to get into Texas, which is one of his favorite tracks,  this weekend. He added that he has a big weekend planned for Daniels Amigos in Texas. He is confident about advancing to Round of 8 as Texas, Talladega, and the Charlotte Roval are his better tracks.

We can’t wait to get to the track. Not only do we have a big weekend planned with Daniel’s Amigos, but Texas is one of my favorite tracks. We know we are better than what we showed at Bristol. Texas, Talladega, and the Charlotte Roval are three of my better tracks. We know we can advance, now we have to show everyone else,” Daniel Suarez said.

Daniel Suarez went on to say that making his way out of the first round was a huge plus. He pointed out that the car for the last three races was not fun for him. He points out that the No:99 team will make a comeback following the last three rounds that were plagued by mistakes.

You have no idea how easy it’s going to be for me to reset because that car was not fun. For me, to be able to make it to the next round with the way the car was driving is a huge plus. Thank you to everyone on our team. They did a very good job. We had the speed, but there were a lot of mistakes; on pit road, myself, overall. We’ll come back stronger for the next round,” Daniel Suarez said added.
