Find out what Kyle Larson said
Kyle Larson acknowledged that at the same time last year his No:5 team was fighting for wins instead of searching for consistency now though the win percentage is the same at the same time last year for him. He went on to say though the team isn’t that far from really good they have things to get better at. He went on to add that he has been struggling for consistency a couple of months ago now is all rolling fine as he sees himself getting that right and said that his teams should be working on getting more stage points from now on.
“I guess actually my win percentage would probably be the same to this point last year yeah, we were definitely running stronger and contending more for wins at this point year last year. I still feel like we need to get better, but I do feel like we’re not far from really good. Just have to continue to work hard and keep trying to be consistent,” Kyle Larson said.
“I had a little bit of inconsistency I feel on my part a couple of months ago. Now, we seem to be rolling OK. I think my last three finishes were a fourth, a fourth, and a sixth. So, that’s been good. We would like to get more stage points and things like that,” Kyle Larson added.
Kyle Larson added that he finds himself way closer in terms of points quired as last season and said there are multiple positives, he can find about his run so far. Kyle Larson acknowledged that he just needed a winning roll they had as of last year.
“We’re way closer to the points lead than we were at this point last year, too. I guess you can spin it a couple of different ways to find some positives about it. It’s been a good year so far. Just would like to get on a roll like we had last season,” says Kyle Larson.
