“We’re going to have that car squared away,” a ‘confident’ Joe Gibbs on Kyle Busch’s future with JGR

Joe Gibbs, the owner of one of the most successful NASCAR teams so far, the Joe Gibbs Racing, and also a former NFL coach finally provided an update on the team’s contract extensions and sponsors which also involved information about the No.18 driver Kyle Busch, who’s time with the organization was at the question the last time he spoke to reporters.
He led the team with such generosity and commitment which led to the drivers bringing home five Cup Series Championships and three Xfinity Series Championships and also won four Daytona 500 Championships and was inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame in 2020.
The drivers racing for the team this year include the No.11 Denny Hamlin, No.18 Kyle Busch, No.19 Martin Truex Jr., and No.20 Christopher Bell, and the team appears to be delighted to work under his leadership dedicated to improving their performance. The team has 196 Cup Series victories until today which also includes its current line-up of drivers.

Joe Gibbs gave good hindsight at their star racer Kyle Busch’s contract negotiations and he said that they’re optimistic about him staying with the team and will get that No.18 back on the track next year.
“We’re really confident that we’re going to have that (No. 18) car squared away,” said Joe Gibbs.
He further added by saying that his sponsorship deals are also in talks and are constantly working with Busch on those and said that he feels confident about having Busch with them.
“Sponsorship-wise, and we’re trying to work on our deal right now with Kyle, so I think we feel good about it,” added Joe Gibbs.
“We’ve got three veteran guys that we feel like every weekend when we go can win,” says Joe Gibbs on his remaining drivers
Joe Gibbs also spoke distinctly about the other existing drivers in his team and was happy to announce that his ace drivers are also extremely capable of winning races with whom a young driver is also proving to be worthy of winning.
“We’ve got three veteran guys that we feel like every weekend when we go (to the racetrack) can win, and we’ve got a young one now where it’s coming to a point where we think he’s ready to start winning races too,” said Joe Gibbs.
He concluded by saying that he is really fond of his team and their efforts working for sponsors and wins and added that it is their job and they are doing it to their full potential and he feels great about it.
“Love our guys. You’re always constantly trying to search for sponsorships, extend their contracts, and so that’s part of what we do. We’re going as hard as we can,” concluded Joe Gibbs.
With three of the teams’ drivers standing at the top10 among points, it is pretty evident that Joe Gibbs Racing is having a blast this season.
