The NASCAR Cup garage is getting ready for the 4th race of the 2023 Cup season, the United Rentals Work United 500 hosted by Phoenix Raceway. 36 drivers will line up on the one-mile track aiming to secure a win. The non-Chevy team will be on their toes going into the race final race of the west coast swing and is hoping to secure the much-awaited win.
Hendrick Motorsports drivers Kyle Larson, Alex Bowman, and William Byron are the drivers to look up to in Phoenix. They claimed the podium finishes last week at Vegas, with Byron scoring the first HMS win. RCR’s Kyle Busch, alongside Joe Gibbs Racing veteran Denny Hamlin, will also be a contender at Phoenix.
There are a few lineup changes to the race going into the weekend. JRM driver Josh Berry will drive Chase Elliott’s, No:9 Chevy. Todd Gilliland will drive the Rick Ware Racing No. 15, and Zane Smith will drive the Front Row Motorsports No. 38 Ford instead.

Who won the 2023 Phoenix Cup race pole?
Kyle Larson, who finished P2 last week at Vegas, will start the race at P1 alongside Joe Gibbs Racing’s Denny Hamlin. William Byron and Brad Keselowski will line up behind them on the race day. Ty Dillon and Cody Ware will start the race at the back of the grid.
When and where to watch the 2023 Phoenix Cup race?
The green flag will be waved on the one-mile track at 3.47 pm (ET) on Sunday. The main event will be broadcasted live on FOX Sports, PRN, and NASCAR SiriusXM Radio. Mike Joy, Clint Bowyer, and guest analyst Danica Patrick will call the race from the Fox booth.
What is the prize money for the 2023 Phoenix Cup race?
The total prize pool for the three staged Cup events is $7,453,660. It will be shared among the grid based on the race results and other metrics. It is nearly a million short of the prize pool of last weekend’s Vegas Cup race.
