NASCAR has indefinity suspended Cody Ware from all of its series after he was arrested for Felony in North Caroline. He has been driving the No:51 Ford Mustang of Rick Ware Racing, a team owned by his father, Rick Ware, in the Cup series and was in his second full-time Cup season. He will not get clearance to race again till NASCAR revives the case.

Ware missed the Bristol dirt race on Sunday, and RWR announced that he was stepping away to focus on personal issues. Few expected him to be going through criminal preceding.  He was replaced by three times by Truck series champion Matt Crafton; he finished the race at P34 in the field of 37 cars due to an engine issue.
