WWE Superstar Liv Morgan has been named the Grand Marshal for the upcoming NASCAR race at Charlotte Roval this weekend, adding to the excitement surrounding the final races of the Cup Series season.
Morgan will be giving the race command in the final R-12 of the race on Sunday. She is currently recovering from a shoulder injury, which has her sidelined from WWE. In her statement, Liv Morgan displayed her excitement as she said that a NASCAR driver requires the same qualities as a WWE champion. She said she could not wait to soak in the race atmosphere at the Roval.
“The same qualities that make a great WWE champion- passion, dedication and commitment- are what NASCAR’s best will need to survive the ROVAL 400. I can’t wait to be there and see all the action, hang out with the fans and find out who’s got what it takes to bring home the win,” Morgan said, as reported by Jayski.
2004 Cup Series Champion Kurt Busch will also be gracing the track with his presence. Moreover, he will be serving as the honorary starter of the race. Busch has won two races at the ROVAL in his career and holds the record for the fastest qualifying lap.

The Bank of America ROVAL 400 will be a crucial race for many drivers
The race at Charlotte ROVAL this weekend will be the final edition in the R-8 of the Cup Series Playoffs. The stakes will be through the roof for many of the drivers. From the bottom four of the R-8 to drivers like Chase Elliott competing for the owner’s championship, each of them will be displaying their A-game this Sunday.
RCR’s Kyle Busch currently sits on P12 in the standings. Being in the worst position he could be now, he recently said that he would be going straight for P1 in the race. Moreover, Busch is the only RCR driver in the Playoffs at the moment.
Also, 23XI Racing duo Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick both lie below the cutoff. Nonetheless, after a brief moment of disagreement at Talladega, both of them aimed to make their place in the final eight.
