It is the right time for former Cup Series champion Kyle Busch to bounce back from continuous disappointing runs in the last few rounds with the Goddess of Fortune favoring him less as NASCAR premier Series hit the Circuit of the Americas for EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix this Sunday.
Kyle Busch will be one of the few drivers who will have an advantage going to COTA as contrary to their teammates they will be getting more track time to get their head around 2021’s first road course. Kyle Busch will enter the track on Friday for the Camping World Truck Series Race at COTA for his own out-fit Kyle Busch Motorsports.
Now the KBM driver has a little more incentive to drive to the top in COTA as he has agreed to a friendly wager between him and 19-year-old young Truck series driver Chandler Smith who drives for KBM.
What is the Bet between Kyle Bush and Chandler Smith
Chandler Smith lost last week in Atlanta after his teammate went against the pre-agreed plan for the race and helped his third teammate to win the race is all set to battle it out in COTA and to make it more interesting he called out his boss Kyle Busch for a bet in COTA through his official Twitter handle.
“Hey, @KyleBusch… Since we’re both running @safelite Tundras at COTA this weekend, how ’bout a friendly wager?” Chandler Smith tweeted.
Replying to his young employees’ call for a wager the veteran replied through Twitter suggesting that the driver who will score the lowest finish among them will have to clean the KBM car’s windshields next week.
“Lower finisher cleans all the windshields at @KBMteam next wk,” Kyle Busch replied.
Kyle Busch has a tough battle at hand as the young Georgian is in great form coming into Austin sitting P2 in the championship point table only behind Noah Gragson. Kyle Busch is ye to outscore the young rival in the Truck Series events they faced of this year and he will be hoping to get the win and channel the momentum towards his cup series run after all he is the record holder of most truck series wins with 61 to his name.
