Coming into the All-Star race JTDG racing, who got direct qualification because of 2023 Daytona 500 win, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was hopeful of making the best out of the day. But the two times Xfinity series champions’ dreams were shattered on lap one of the as Kyle Busch wrecked him for a clash between the two on the start of the race.

Stenhouse Jr. got his payback soon after race ended. He confronted Kyle Busch and while they were having a heated confrontation punched him on the face. The drama lasted minute before everyone including the crew members were separated. After this clash, the No:47 Chevy driver talked to the media and insisted he doesn’t know why Busch so mad at him for the initial clash.

I’m not sure why he was so mad, I shoved it three-wide, but I mean, he hit the fence and kind of came off the wall and ran into me. I don’t know when I was talking him he kept saying that I wrecked him.

He went on to point out that Kyle Busch supposedly bad mouthing for incidents of the past and latest ones. Stenhouse Jr. also pointed out that the frustration of the poor form Busch is in might be the reason for him to be mad as well.

So, definitely built-up frustration with how he runs his mouth all the time about myself, but I know he’s frustrated because he doesn’t run as well as he used to. I understand that. We’re a single-car team over here, we’re working really hard to go out and get better each and every weekend.

While talking on his teams’ expectations coming into the race weekend, Stenhouse Jr. pointed out that he and the team came with a lot of expectations. But the clash with Kyle Busch ruined everything for him.

You know, we had a really good game plan coming in. Our car was really strong. Friday in practice I was looking forward to running to the front. I think we’d pass a couple of cars there. I was excited for the rest of the night and he ruined it.

The brawl between the two post-races could have been avoided if Ricky Stenhouse Jr. had the opportunity to go back home. But there wasn’t a way out for him and getting stuck made him more frustrate and it made him to get back on the veteran.
