“I Ask Him All the Time!” Ryan Blaney Shares Parenting Advice from Bubba Wallace as He Expects his first child

Ryan Blaney is soon to be a father to a sweet newborn as he recently revealed his wife Gianna Tulio‘s pregnancy. The Penske star is all set to join the long list of NASCAR drivers who are also parents. Thankfully, Blaney’s closest friend, Bubba Wallace, also embraced fatherhood last year, as he would have great tips on taking care of a newborn. Hence, the 31-year-old reveals that he doesn’t shy away from asking Bubba for crucial advice on raising kids.

Ryan Blaney recently revealed that he didn’t want to keep his wife’s pregnancy hidden anymore as the couple are expecting the newborn to come soon. Thankfully, Gianna Tulio‘s delivery is set to take place during NASCAR’s off-season if all things go as planned. This is already a big weight taken off of the Penske star’s shoulders as Denny Hamlin had to recently miss out on the Mexico Cup Race due to the birth of his third child.

Bubba Wallace recently fathered his newborn son, Becks Hayden Wallace, alongside his wife, Amanda Wallace. Moreover, Wallace and Ryan Blaney are best mates off-track as the latter would definitely take in some advice from the new father. Luckily, Blaney is almost always spending time with the 23XI star as he openly admits that he takes advice from the latter.

Ryan Blaney noted that he asked for Bubba Wallace’s advice all the time as he saw firsthand just how great of a father the latter was. Moreover, Blaney is already witnessing Becks growing up into a lovely child, as Wallace has definitely got the parenting under control. As such, the 31-year-old pointed out that it was great to have the #23 driver around him for advice, as he also went through the same process a few months back.

 I ask him all the time, and I see it firsthand, being over at his place, and flying together, and stuff like that, and seeing Becks around, and watching Becks grow up, and stuff like that, it’s been kind of neat, so yeah, I ask him all the time advice, and what are some goods, and what are the struggles of a newborn, and things like that, so it’s been nice to have him right there, and kind of go through the same thing.

Ryan Blaney reveals the ‘fortunate’ timing of the child’s delivery

If all things go according to plan, the newborn is likely to be born over the winter break. This is the best case scenario for Ryan Blaney as he wouldn’t have to miss any NASCAR races and could give his full attention to the well-being of his wife and the baby. The timing is so good that it left people wondering if it was planned accordingly, however, the 31-year-old reveals that the couple just got fortunate with the delivery date.

Ryan Blaney clarified that while the pregnancy was planned, its timing didn’t exactly align with NASCAR’s schedule. Fortunately, everything has been going smoothly so far, and Blaney hopes for no complications in the remaining months. If all goes well, the Team Penske star aims to have his wife and newborn settled during the offseason break, giving the baby a few months to grow before the 2026 season kicks off.

Good planning. I can’t say we necessarily drew it up that way, just kind of got fortunate on the timing of it, and yeah, so hopefully, fingers crossed, it all goes to plan, and we can be kind of settled into the off season by the time that the little one jumps back.

The 2025 year has been great for Ryan Blaney as he will not only become a father for the first time, but his performances in NASCAR have also been great. Blaney has already locked his spot in the playoffs, owing to his coveted victory at Nashville in the past month. Now, the 31-year-old will hope to finish the season on a high as he would then immediately return to his wife and hope for a smooth delivery process.
