Ryan Blaney achieved an impressive outing at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway after starting the race from the front row. Throughout the race, Blaney led over 116 laps, with 39 of those coming ahead of his victory at the New Hampshire circuit.

The Penske star also lifted his third victory of the season, and sealed his position in the round of 8 for the championship fight. Now, the #12 crew credits teammate Joey Logano and his help to the former in his victory at the USA Today 301.

Joey Logano had defeated Ryan Blaney in the Qualifying session and achieved the pole position for the main race. However, Logano’s problematic pit stops during the final pit cycle caused him to lose crucial track positions and ultimately the race win to Blaney.

However, the #22 driver’s loss wasn’t for nothing, as his pre-race tire testing helped the team and the #12 crew gain helpful insight on the strategy for the main race. Ryan Blaney’s crew chief, Jonathan Hassler, opened up on Joey Logano and the former’s outing at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Hassler noted that the team was fortunate that Logano participated in the tire testing sessions and helped the team. The crew chief continued that he gave a lot of credit to the #22 crew for going through a lot of things at the test, ultimately helping Ryan Blaney get quicker on track.

We were fortunate that Joey was able to come here and test, I give Joey and [crew chief] Paul [Wolfe] a lot of credit for getting through a lot of things at the test that made our cars faster.

Jonathan Hassler pointed out that the entire team went over the data thoroughly and gathered great knowledge from the information accrued in the test sessions. Ryan Blaney’s crew chief explained that they learned about different philosophies that worked and didn’t work out at the New Hampshire circuit. As such, all this newfound information helped Blaney’s crew get as competitive as possible and maximize results.

We all worked together to kind of go through the things that were tested and the different philosophies that have and haven’t worked throughout the year and make sure that we were all as competitive as we could be when we showed up.

Speaking on his race win, Ryan Blaney insisted that all victories in the playoffs helped him gain further momentum. The 31-year-old pointed out that he was a big believer in confidence and momentum, more so because the playoffs aren’t a place where a driver can relax. As such, Blaney aims not to relax for the next two weeks, as he continues to give it his all for his maiden Cup Series championship win.

Anytime you can win in the playoffs, it’s just momentum, I’m a big believer in momentum and confidence. … It’s definitely not something to where you don’t get to relax. That’s a big thing to me. We’re not going to go relax for two weeks.

Ryan Blaney said, as reported by Fox Sports.

Certainly, the 2025 season has been full of ups and downs for Ryan Blaney. But the NHMS victory will definitely help him maintain a positive attitude for the coming races. Now, time will tell about how the remainder of the playoff races and rounds turn out for Blaney as he will fire all engines to ensure a dominant performance in all the remaining races.
