Team Penske Racing drivers has hilariously given the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series champion Joey Logano his trucker name.

Team Penske Racing is one of the mostly closely knit racing operations in the world, with NASCAR Cup Series and the IndyCar series being their primary fields. The stock car and open wheel racing teams helps each other with both racing, as well as marketing projects with the primary objective of winning overtime they hit the tracks.

The six racers from both teams also share the close bonds and has a great dynamic between them. This was shown an in a recent video shared by the team, where they gave the reigning Cup champion Joey Logano his trucker name, as the three times champion earned his trucker license this year. His teammate Ryan Blaney had the bets name, which was derived from the original Sliced Bread nickname of the champion.

Two times IndyCar champion, Will Power had the cheesiest name of all six drivers. Known for his great comic sense, Power named the No:22 Ford Mustang driver Truck Daddy Lugano, raising some eyebrows.

Austin Cindric and Josef Newgarden has solid nicknames for Joey Logano as well

They were joined by 2022 Daytona 500 champion Austin Cindric, also had a name derived from one of Logano’s OG nicknames. He called him Smoking Joe and also suggested that name Smiling Transporter, which he was less sure about.

Smoking Joe, isn’t that already a thing? God, there’s so many things you can call Joey, but we’ll keep it at that. Joey the Smiling Transporter. I don’t know.

Another two times IndyCar champion of Penske Racing, Josef Newgarden also had a hilarious truck name for Logano. He called him Bandit, and asserted he feels Logano is the Bandit.

Three times Supercars champion and now Penske’s IndyCar driver Scott McLaughlin also had a good nickname for Logano. He called him “Little Beaver.” The comment from the driver shows the fun dynamic they have between them.
